I have been a naughty girl lately... doing all sorts of stuff I should be writing about... but alas, the whole "doing lots of stuff" tends to make one comatose when she has a few minutes to write and she would rather just play with her dog or watch TV or both!
Anyhow, I am buying a house. Ok, WE are buying a house. I have been hesitant to write about it, because I still can't believe we are actually doing it, but it seems like it is going to happen. We have already been preapproved for the loan, now we just have to get really approved. We are really working the state and federal government to get the money, but we just qualify for such good things, and interest rates are going up up up and I don't want to rent anymore. I am tired of putting all that money into some retarded corporation's pocket. So I guess I can welcome myself to home ownership. I am jazzed. We are actually building it from the ground up, well, a builder is, but we get to pick SO MUCH STUFF! I already have most of it in the bag. It should be real nice. Jeff and I are pretty excited. It is 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1275 square feet and on 1/3 of an acre. It is really cute. I will get pics up as soon as it is done, which should be around November. I know it is a little small, but it will be perfect for us for a few years and when we need something bigger, at least we won't have been renting all that time. So with that and all my work shite and going to the gym and crap like that, you can kinda see why I am never here.
I feel bad about it too, I never get to read anybody's else diary daily anymore, so I have to do this checking up thing once a week when I remember to.
So I am going to go do that now, and try to get some info on my LJ while I am at it. Just in case anyone reads me anymore!
