You know, I never much cared for Martha’s design style anyway. I mean, she has a line at K-mart… Not that I have a huge problem with K-mart, but we grew up poor and so I have fond (shudder) memories of the long hours of shopping at K-mart. School clothes and stuff like that. I should’ve been happy that I was getting school clothes, but the young mind doesn’t see things like that. I do remember going there and getting Icees and the best 3-day-old popcorn available to this day. K-mart had a smell to it that I also remember fondly. I don’t get in there much anymore, some part of me still holds the snobbish shame that only a poor kid with rich friends can have. Maybe I will get down there this weekend. I love bargain shopping now. Dollar stores and Wal-mart and Big Lots, all but K-mart.

So yeah, Go Gay Marriage! I believe that Portland, OR has started performing them, which isn’t hard to believe as we all know that OR just really wants to be part of Northern California. (smirk) (Well we are better than Washington!) I really wish that Wilmington, NC would start doing them. I would probably shit a golden goose if my touristy little southern town full of bible beating biddies and rollicking rednecks started wedding the queer. I might be the only person in town who was straight and happy, but they would just pat me on the head and whisper to each other, “She’s from California, just ignore her and she may go away.” Fucking ingrates.

So I have to give Gumphood a lot of thanks for commenting on my lamentation yesterday. I just really hope he is right, J & S need something to bring them together and a child could, possibly, do that… It is good to hear from somebody who isn’t just thinking doom and gloom like the rest of us. We have no other choice but to give them the benefit of the doubt. This could bring them closer and make them stronger and better. I just wish they had gotten a puppy first. Something a little less, um, fragile. God, why do I see Pup and Bill raising that kid? Rok was going to stop over there last night, so I am just dying to hear what she found out if she did. I really hope this wasn’t a secret though, everyone reads my diary. When they get the time. Now if J & S read this, I might get crucified, which could be the next big thing.

I honestly really truly hope that everything works out for them, I have all the hope in the world, but I know that it will end up bad in SOME way. Those two track trouble like coonhounds in heat.

Holy shit I have been in the south for too long.
