Gay marriage, stem cells, Janet’s titty, AWOL presidents, eh. I say Fuck em all. Well, maybe not all of them. I think gay marriage is keen. I don’t see why you shouldn’t be able to if you are tax-paying American. Hell, prisoners can get married, why not gays right? I have tons of gay friends, let’s let them see what marriage is like. Reap the rewards of getting screwed by the government around tax time. But then again, if your life partner dies, you still get the benefit of it. Then they can adopt kids and we can solve a few more problems in the nation, like homelessness and starving welfare crack babies who watch as mommy smokes crack and spends the food stamps on top ramen. I know why people want to get married and I know I want to get married, and I know that it is a deeper level of commitment. When you feel that way about someone, you just have this need to make it public and prove it to that person in front of your closet friends and loved ones. I seriously doubt it has anything to do with monetary benefits and more to do with proving that being gay is not wrong. I don’t understand how Americans can be so hypocritical! It’s merely symptomatic of our post-modernistic ennui. (yay Brak!) But we do detest our freedom. We want to be free, but we want to make it all bread and butter, white picket fence, two cars in every garage, nuclear freedom. It’s all or nothing people. We are not spreading into anarchy, but merely inching forward into a renaissance of free thought and acceptance of every last human that surrounds us. I was really hoping that our generation would be the one that caused the unrest among all of us, the one that pointed out that things are in fact WRONG on many many levels.
Bringing up WRONG, what the hell is the problem with stem cell research? Are we that close to proving that God doesn’t exist? Why are the religious types so upset with this? Hello?!? Possible cure for most deadly diseases nowadays dumbasses! I just don’t get it.
I am a little too militant today I think.
